Zanzibar Beach Leisure

Day 1:  Arrival and Transfeer to Tembo House Hotel.

Arrival at Zanzibar Airport meet and greet, road transfer to selected Hotel at Stone Town. Welcome drinks upon arrival, check in and relax. Dinner and stay overnight in HB basis.

Day 2: City, Spice & Prison Island Tour

After breakfast we drive to Kizimbani for the spice tour. We will visit the spice plantations where you will have the opportunity to pick, smell, and savour fruits and spices which you have probably never seen on the supermarket shelf, Cloves, star fruit, tangerine trees, lemon grass, mangos teen, 'lipstick trees', to name but a few what you can expect to see! This is the cheapest place to buy locally made perfumes and oils.  After the tour we can enjoy with a locally prepared lunch on the spice plantation or proceed to Stone Town for lunch and tour. This two or three hours tour begins with a visit to Zanzibar's colorful market, alive with the buzz of locals bartering fresh vegetables and baskets of tropical fruit, amongst the heady aroma of herbs and spices, we continue onto the site of a cathedral built in 1874 then to the Zanzibar Museum, Tippu Tip's House and the former British Club. Your tour ends with a stroll through the narrow streets of Stone Town. After the tour we can relax for a while before catching our boat to Prison Island. The island offers a stunning view of the Town especially during the night; there is very beautiful minor sandy beach where swimming on the crystal waters is marvelous. The coral reefs surrounding the island provide an opportunity of snorkeling. This is also a home of the giant tortoise, which is now under strict conservation. A short-guided tour around the island will provide the real picture. After the tour we ride back to Stone Town to take our vehicle to the hotel for dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3:  Safari Blue Tour and transfer to selected Resort

After breakfast we drive to Fumba beach for safari blue tour. This is a full day trip on locally constructed sailing dhows, fitted with outboard motors, marine VHF radios, life jackets and other security requirements. The dhow anchors in a safe and shallow area to allow for snorkeling. High quality snorkeling materials are provided, and a large range of sizes is available. Lunch is served on a sand bank or on one of the many uninhabited island in the region. A traditional dish of barbecued fish, rice, lentils and fish curry is served. Chilled fruit juice, mineral water, and bottled soft drinks are available throughout the tour. After lunch, clients can sail on an outrigger canoe carved out of a single mango tree, snorkel and swim or just relax. Return to Fumba is by sail, wind permitting, and clients arrive back at selected Resort at about 1730 hrs. Dinner and stay overnight in all inclusive basis.

Day 4- 5: Beach Leisure

These are your days to relax on the beach, get swimming on the warm waters of the Indian Ocean or just relax beside the hotel swimming pool reading your text books. By your own you can also take this time to visit villages, explore some more interesting sites across the island, get yourselves involved in water-sports activities such as diving, snorkeling, kayaking, windsurfing,  game fishing and even dhow cruise, to name but a few. Dinner and stay overnight in all inclusive basis.

Day 6: Transfer from the Resort  to Airport

Depending on the flight time, we will pick you up may be after breakfast to Seaport or Airport to catch your flight/ferry to Dar.
